ABOUT

My Approach

I am an integrative counsellor working within a Person-Centred framework, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my practice. I believe that feeling genuinely heard, understood and accepted can create the foundation for meaningful growth, healing and change.

Being an integrative therapist means I draw upon a range of counselling theories and approaches, tailoring my work to meet your individual needs. Alongside Person-Centred Therapy, I incorporate concepts from psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, Transactional Analysis (TA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and other therapeutic approaches where appropriate. This enables us to work together in a way that feels meaningful, supportive and effective for you.

I work holistically and creatively, helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences and the challenges they may be facing. Together, we can explore patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour, develop self-awareness, and build the confidence and resilience needed to move forward.

I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, self-esteem, identity, relationship difficulties, trauma, abuse, disordered eating, emotional regulation, loss and life transitions.
